3. Natural Turkish or European opium ::
Brown or dark brown in colour it is found in conical or rounded and somewhat flattened masses weighing 250 to 1000 g On leeping it becomes Hard and brittle it is covered with poppy leaves .
4. Manipulated Turkish opium :;
It is chocolate brown or dark brown internally and covered with broken poppy leaves externally The masses of this type are oval and flattened on upper and lower surface weighing about 2000 g it is somewhat plastic or even brittle .
5. Manipulated European opium ::
It is dark brown in colour internally and covered with broken leaves it is found in the form of elongated masses with rounded ends weighing 150 to 500 g it is firm plastic and with brittle fracture .

गहरे भूरे रंग की यह ईंट के आकार के टुकड़ों के रूप में मिलती है, जिनका वज़न 450 g होता है। यह हाइग्रोस्कोपिक होती है, दानेदार या लगभग चिकनी होती है और इसमें टूटने की गुंजाइश होती है।

भूरे या गहरे भूरे रंग की यह कोनिकल या गोल और कुछ हद तक चपटी चीज़ों के रूप में मिलती है, जिनका वज़न 250 से 1000 g होता है। पकने पर यह सख्त और टूटने वाली हो जाती है और खसखस के पत्तों से ढकी होती है।
4. मैनिपुलेटेड टर्किश अफीम:;
यह अंदर से चॉकलेट ब्राउन या डार्क ब्राउन होती है और बाहर से टूटी हुई पोस्त की पत्तियों से ढकी होती है। इस तरह के अफीम के गुच्छे अंडाकार और ऊपर और नीचे की सतह पर चपटे होते हैं, जिनका वज़न लगभग 2000 g होता है, यह कुछ हद तक प्लास्टिक या नाज़ुक भी होती है।
