Ammoniated mercury finely powdered  25 g 

Simple ointment             975 g 

Triturate the ammoniated mercury with a portion of the simple ontment until smooth ointment is prepared Add the remaining simple ointment and mix thoroughly . 

SULPHUR OINTMENT I.P. 

Sublimed sulphur finely sifted 100 g 

Simple ointment  900 g 

Wool Alcohols Ointment I.P.

Wool Alcohols  60 g 

Hard paraffin     240 g 

White soft paraffin or 

Yellow soft paraffin     100 g 

Liquid paraffin     600 g 

Melt all the ingredients Stir until cold 

SALICYCLIC ACID OINTMENT I.P. 

Salicylic acid finely sifted 20 g 

Wool alcohols ointment 980 g 

Melt the wool alcohol ointment Add the salicylic acid and stir until cold 

IODINE OINTMENT NON STAINING WITH METHYL SALICYLATE B.P.C

Iodine   50 g 

Arachis oil 150 ml 

Yellow soft paraffin a sufficient quantity 

Shake the iodine with the arachis oil at room temperature until dissolved and maintain the solution at 50 .c with occasional stirring until the brown colour disappears Determine the concentration o iodine present by doing the assay Add sufficient of the yellow soft paraffin previously heated to 40 .c to produce ointment having iodine content between 4.75 to 5.25 per cent . 

Add the methyl salicylate (6 % w/w ) and stir until cold .

अमोनियाटेड मरकरी को सिंपल ऑइंटमेंट के एक हिस्से के साथ तब तक पीसें जब तक चिकना ऑइंटमेंट तैयार न हो जाए। बचा हुआ सिंपल ऑइंटमेंट डालें और अच्छी तरह मिलाएँ।

सल्फर ऑइंटमेंट I.P.

सब्लिम्ड सल्फर बारीक छना हुआ 100 g

सिंपल ऑइंटमेंट 900 g

वूल अल्कोहल ऑइंटमेंट I.P.

वूल अल्कोहल 60 g

हार्ड पैराफिन 240 g

सफेद सॉफ्ट पैराफिन या

पीला सॉफ्ट पैराफिन 100 g

लिक्विड पैराफिन 600 g

सभी सामग्री को पिघलाएँ ठंडा होने तक हिलाएँ

सैलिसिलिक एसिड ऑइंटमेंट I.P.

सैलिसिलिक एसिड बारीक छना हुआ 20 g

ऊन अल्कोहल ऑइंटमेंट 980 g

ऊन अल्कोहल ऑइंटमेंट को पिघलाएं। सैलिसिलिक एसिड डालें और ठंडा होने तक मिलाएं।

मिथाइल सैलिसिलेट B.P.C. के साथ दाग न लगने वाला आयोडीन ऑइंटमेंट

आयोडीन 50 g

अराकिस ऑयल 150 ml

पीला सॉफ्ट पैराफिन काफ़ी मात्रा में।

आयोडीन को अराकिस ऑयल के साथ रूम टेम्परेचर पर तब तक हिलाएं जब तक वह घुल न जाए और सॉल्यूशन को 50 .c पर बनाए रखें, बीच-बीच में हिलाते रहें जब तक कि भूरा रंग गायब न हो जाए। एसे करके आयोडीन की मात्रा पता करें। 4.75 से 5.25 परसेंट के बीच आयोडीन वाला ऑइंटमेंट बनाने के लिए पहले से 40 .c तक गर्म किया हुआ पीला सॉफ्ट पैराफिन काफ़ी मात्रा में मिलाएं।

मिथाइल सैलिसिलेट (6 % w/w) मिलाएं और ठंडा होने तक मिलाएं।
