(5)Extensible non- adhesive woven products
i.e. Cotton bandage elastic web bandage etc .
(6)Extensible adhesive woven products
i.e. Elastic adhesive bandage extension plaster
(7) Non - woven products
i.e. impermeable plastic surgical adhesive tape permeable plastic surgical adhesive tape etc . Surgical dressings are also classified as woven dressings and non - woven dressings . Cotton silk and wool are used to prepare a number of woven dressings They should also comply the pharmacopoeial requirements few of them are described below .

यानी एब्ज़ॉर्बेंट कॉटन विस्कोस वैडिंग वगैरह।
(3) नॉन-एक्सटेंसिबल नॉन-एडहेसिव वोवन प्रोडक्ट
यानी एब्ज़ॉर्बेंट मलमल डोमेट बैंडेज वगैरह।
(4) नॉन-एक्सटेंसिबल एडहेसिव वोवन प्रोडक्ट
यानी बेलाडोना एडहेसिव प्लास्टर, ज़िंक ऑक्साइड सर्जिकल एडहेसिव टेप।
(5) एक्सटेंसिबल नॉन-एडहेसिव वोवन प्रोडक्ट
यानी कॉटन बैंडेज, इलास्टिक वेब बैंडेज वगैरह।
(6) फैलने वाले चिपकने वाले बुने हुए प्रोडक्ट
यानी इलास्टिक चिपकने वाला बैंडेज एक्सटेंशन प्लास्टर
(7) नॉन-वोवन प्रोडक्ट
यानी इम्परमेबल प्लास्टिक सर्जिकल चिपकने वाला टेप, परमेबल प्लास्टिक सर्जिकल चिपकने वाला टेप वगैरह। सर्जिकल ड्रेसिंग को बुने हुए ड्रेसिंग और नॉन-वोवन ड्रेसिंग के तौर पर भी बांटा जाता है। कई बुने हुए ड्रेसिंग बनाने के लिए कॉटन, सिल्क और ऊन का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। उन्हें फार्माकोपियल ज़रूरतों को भी पूरा करना चाहिए, उनमें से कुछ नीचे बताए गए हैं।
