 SCREW CLOSURES  ::

These are very commonly used it consists of three components : 

(1) Cap 

(2) Wad 

(3) Liner 

Cap ::

It may be made of tin - plate or aluminium metal Some times these caps are pre -formed and the container is closed simply by screwing the cap on the neck Alternatively a blank cap is dropped over the neck of the container and threads are formed in it with the help of a machine Caps are also made of plastic material Plastic caps are better than metal caps because they are capable of resisting corrosion and also do not contaminate the product . 

Wad ::

It is a seal which prevents the contamination of the product wad should be inert and is made of such a material which does not absorb the product Wads are made of rubber or silicone rubber However cork or cardboard wads are also commonly used . 

Liner ::

It is made of metal foils rubber plastic films and paper impregnated with a suitable resin wax or plastic ,

कैप ::

यह टिन-प्लेट या एल्युमिनियम मेटल का बना हो सकता है। कभी-कभी ये कैप पहले से बने होते हैं और कंटेनर को सिर्फ़ गर्दन पर कैप को स्क्रू करके बंद कर दिया जाता है। इसके अलावा, कंटेनर की गर्दन पर एक खाली कैप डाली जाती है और मशीन की मदद से उसमें धागे बनाए जाते हैं। कैप प्लास्टिक मटीरियल के भी बने होते हैं। प्लास्टिक कैप मेटल कैप से बेहतर होते हैं क्योंकि वे जंग लगने से बचाते हैं और प्रोडक्ट को खराब भी नहीं करते हैं।

वेड ::

यह एक सील है जो प्रोडक्ट को खराब होने से बचाता है। वेड इनर्ट होना चाहिए और ऐसे मटीरियल से बना होना चाहिए जो प्रोडक्ट को सोख न सके। वेड रबर या सिलिकॉन रबर के बने होते हैं। हालांकि, कॉर्क या कार्डबोर्ड वेड भी आम तौर पर इस्तेमाल किए जाते हैं।

लाइनर ::

यह मेटल फॉइल, रबर, प्लास्टिक फिल्म और पेपर से बना होता है जिसमें सही रेज़िन, वैक्स या प्लास्टिक लगा होता है।
