Uses ::
Externally it is an emollient and soothing agent for inflammed surfaces it is used to soften the skin and crusts in eczema and psoriasis it is also used as an ingredient of ear wax .
Internally it is used as nutrient demulcent and also as mild laxative it is used as a vehicle for oily suspensions for injection .
