The hairs forming the fleece of the sheep are removed at shearing time They are then processed to remove the wool fat and dirt The clean and defatted wool is subjected to bleaching washed again and dried .

भेड़ के ऊन बनाने वाले बालों को कतरने के समय हटा दिया जाता है। फिर उन्हें ऊन की चर्बी और गंदगी हटाने के लिए प्रोसेस किया जाता है। साफ़ और बिना चर्बी वाले ऊन को ब्लीच किया जाता है, फिर से धोया और सुखाया जाता है।

विवरण ::

ऊन के बाल चिकने, लचीले, चमकदार, घुंघराले, हाइग्रोस्कोपिक और छूने में फिसलन वाले होते हैं। ऊन के बालों में ज़्यादा पावर के नीचे देखने पर आपस में चिपकने की आदत होती है, ऊन में क्यूटिकल, कॉर्टेक्स और मेडुला दिखता है।
