Cultivation and Collection ::
The plant is not cultivated systematically it is found as common weed in Maharashtra Bengal Assam and uttar pradesh it can be cultivated in loamy soil and the common method applicable to garden crops can be adopted for its cultivation it is propagated by seed germination The plant reaches maximum height of 2 to 3 m under all favourable conditions

वासका भारत की एक देसी दवा है। यह श्रीलंका, मलेशिया और बर्मा में भी पाई जाती है। यह सब-हिमालयी इलाके में 1000 m की ऊंचाई तक पाई जाती है और कोंकण, महाराष्ट्र में भी बहुत ज़्यादा मिलती है।
खेती और कलेक्शन ::
इस पौधे की खेती सिस्टमैटिक तरीके से नहीं की जाती है। यह महाराष्ट्र, बंगाल, असम और उत्तर प्रदेश में आम खरपतवार के रूप में पाई जाती है। इसकी खेती दोमट मिट्टी में की जा सकती है और इसकी खेती के लिए बगीचे की फसलों में इस्तेमाल होने वाला आम तरीका अपनाया जा सकता है। इसे बीज के अंकुरण से उगाया जाता है। सभी अच्छी कंडीशन में पौधा ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा 2 से 3 m तक लंबा होता है।
