Uses ::
Amla fruits are largely used in Indian medicine it is used as an acrid diuretic refrigerant and laxative Dried fruits are given in diarrhoea and dysentery They are also administered in jaundice dyspepsia and anaemia alongwith iron compound Fruits are also used in preparation of inks hair oils and shampoo it is reported that fixed oil from fruits possesses the property of promoting hair growth Seeds of the fruits are given in treatment of asthama and bronchitis The leaves are used as fodder Alcoholic extract of the fruit is anti - viral it is a popular drug ingredient of Triphala and Chyavanprash .

आंवला के पानी वाले घोल में लेड एसीटेट या जिलेटिन मिलाएं, फिल्ट्रेशन से ppt निकाल लें। फिल्ट्रेट में 2,6 डाइक्लोरोफेनॉल - इंडोफेनॉल का घोल मिलाएं, रंग गायब हो जाएगा।
उपयोग ::
आंवला के फल भारतीय दवा में बड़े पैमाने पर इस्तेमाल होते हैं, इसका इस्तेमाल तीखे डाइयूरेटिक, रेफ्रिजरेंट और लैक्सेटिव के तौर पर किया जाता है। सूखे मेवे डायरिया और पेचिश में दिए जाते हैं। इन्हें पीलिया, बदहजमी और एनीमिया में आयरन कंपाउंड के साथ भी दिया जाता है। फलों का इस्तेमाल इंक, हेयर ऑयल और शैम्पू बनाने में भी किया जाता है। बताया गया है कि फलों से मिलने वाले फिक्स्ड ऑयल में बालों की ग्रोथ बढ़ाने का गुण होता है। फलों के बीज अस्थमा और ब्रोंकाइटिस के इलाज में दिए जाते हैं। पत्तियों का इस्तेमाल चारे के तौर पर किया जाता है। फल का अल्कोहलिक एक्सट्रैक्ट एंटी-वायरल होता है, यह त्रिफला और च्यवनप्राश का एक पॉपुलर ड्रग इंग्रीडिएंट है।
