 INHALATLOAS  :: 

These are liquid preparations containing volatile substances and are used to relieve congestion and inflammation of the respiratory tract The inhalations containing the volatile substances which are volatile at room temperature may be placed on an absorbent pad or handkerchief to inhale therefrom in other cases inhalations are added to hot but not boiling water (about 65.c) and vapours are inhaled for about 10 minutes .

BENZOIN INHALATION B.P.C.

Benzoin crushed  100 g 

Prepared storax  50 g 

Alcohol (95 per cent ) to produce 1000 ml 

It is prepared by macerating the benzoin and the prepared storax with alcohol 95 % for 24 hours Filter and pass sufficient of the alcohol through the filter to produce the required volume . 

MENTHOL AND EUCALYPTUS INHALATION B.P.C. 

Light magnesium carbonate  70 g 

Menthol  20 g 

Eucalyptus oil  100 ml 

Water to produce      1000 ml 

    Dissolve the menthol in eucalyptus oil and add light magnesium carbonate and sufficient water to produce the required volume .

इसे बेंज़ोइन और तैयार स्टोरैक्स को 95% अल्कोहल के साथ 24 घंटे तक मैसेरेट करके बनाया जाता है। फ़िल्टर करें और ज़रूरी मात्रा बनाने के लिए फ़िल्टर से काफ़ी अल्कोहल पास करें।

लाइट मैग्नीशियम कार्बोनेट 70 g

मेंथॉल 20 g

यूकेलिप्टस ऑयल 100 ml

1000 ml बनाने के लिए पानी

यूकेलिप्टस ऑयल में मेंथॉल घोलें और लाइट मैग्नीशियम कार्बोनेट और ज़रूरी मात्रा बनाने के लिए काफ़ी पानी मिलाएं।
